Civil Engineering Research is part of the Department of Engineering Science at Oxford University. The Department, which has an outstanding reputation for research, is one of the few worldwide in which Engineering is studied as a unified discipline.
The research is organised into four main areas:

Recent News Items
- (11/11/09) Richard Willden, Alistair Borthwick, Rodney Eatock Taylor, Guy Houlsby and Paul Taylor, have been awarded a four year £1.5m contract as part of a major new £8m multi-partner marine energy project funded by the Energy Technologies Institute.
